CITY CRUISES LAUNCHES LIVE EVENT SERIES, BRINGING NOTABLE MUSICAL ACTS, SPORTS LEGENDS, CELEBRITY CHEFS, AND TV CELEBRITY PERSONALITIES TO SHIPS NATIONWIDE

Kicking off in April with a concert from Joey Fatone and Wanyá Morris, City Cruises Live will bring celebrated talent onboard for one-of-a-kind experiences in North America's iconic cities.

NEW YORK, March 3, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- City Cruises, the leader in dining and sightseeing cruises worldwide, is proud to introduce "City Cruises Live," a brand new live entertainment series aboard its North American vessels. The first-of-its-kind series will bring notable musical artists, celebrity chefs, sports legends, and other celebrities and entertainers onboard, offering guests a personalized, one-of-a-kind experience all while enjoying the United States and Canada's most iconic city skylines aboard City Cruises' vessels. With the booming sports and music tourism industries expected to hit $1.5 trillion dollars by 2032, City Cruises is excited to launch this out-of-the-box communal experience for visitors of all ages, tapping into the trends of what today's traveler is seeking. City Cruises Live expects to host 100+ events in 2025.   

The kickoff event of the series, "City Cruises Live with Joey Fatone of *NSYNC and Wanyá Morris of Boyz II Men," will be held April 5 in Washington, D.C., with live performances from Joey Fatone and Wanyá Morris against the scenic backdrop of the nation's capital from the water. The nationwide series will be comprised of four event categories: concerts, culinary series, sports-themed cruises with local legends, and Q&As with television personalities.

The Live Concert Series will allow guests to dance all night on an exclusive and intimate concert cruise, where they will be up close and personal with a variety of notable musical headliners, with the chance to meet their favorite artist. Confirmed musical artists include Joey Fatone of *NSYNC and Wanya Morris of Boyz II Men, Lee Brice, Ken Block and Drew Copeland of Sister Hazel, Randy Houser, Michael Ray, Mark Wills, Rodney Atkins, Colt Ford, and Elan Trotman.

The Sports Engagement Series will allow fans to relive the championship runs of their favorite sports team, bringing iconic athletes and championship trophies on board for fans to learn first-hand about the legendary moments in their city's sports history. Planned events include:

• 2005 Chicago White Sox World Series Cruise (hosted by AJ Pierzynski and manager Ozzie Guillen)
• 2004 Boston Red Sox World Series Cruise (hosted by Kevin Millar and teammates)
• 1993 Toronto Blue Jays "Walk-Off Home Run" World Series Cruise (hosted by Joe Carter and teammates)
• 2019 Washington Nationals World Series Cruise
• 2016 Chicago Cubs World Series Cruise
• 1999 New York Yankees World Series Cruise
• San Diego Padres All-Star Cruise
• Chicago Bears Cruise (hosted by NFL Hall-of-Famer Brian Urlacher and teammates)
• Super Bowl XXVI Washington Commanders Cruise (hosted by Super Bowl XXVI MVP Mark Rypien and teammates)

The Culinary Series will be led by award-winning celebrity chef Adrianne Calvo. Debuting in her hometown of Chicago, Calvo will visit City Cruises ports nationwide on a six-city tour throughout the summer and fall, crafting custom menus in each city tailored to their unique culinary scenes. Calvo's Miami restaurant, Chef Adrianne's Vineyard Restaurant and Bar, has been featured in Zagat, Miami Herald's "Best of Miami-Dade," and Wine Spectator's Award of Excellence. 

The Television Celebrity Entertainment Series will offer insights into guests' favorite shows or movies, including a behind-the-scenes look at being on set and untold stories from the show. Talent to be announced soon.
