City of Eugene, Oregon enters into a five-year contract with Aurigo Software for Capital Program and Project Portfolio Management

AUSTIN, Texas and EUGENE, Ore., March 11, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- The City of Eugene, the second largest city in Oregon, has selected Aurigo Masterworks as its new capital program and project management software that will be deployed over the cloud.

The City's capital program includes construction and maintenance of airports, parks, transportation, public facilities, stormwater and wastewater plants. The City's capital improvement plan over a six-year planning cycle includes projects exceeding $171 million in approved funds, and an additional $319 million yet to be approved.

In a rigorous selection process, the City evaluated seven vendors on several criteria: product, technology, services, company, pricing and sustainability, before shortlisting four vendors.

Aurigo Masterworks scored significantly higher than e-Builder, CIP Planner and PM Web across all criteria. A memo issued by the City documenting the results indicated, "Proposals for Oracle-based or owned solutions created questions and concerns for compatibility and integration along with long-term support and costs."
