CIVCO Medical Solutions Announces Sales and Marketing Leadership Restructuring

CORALVILLE, Iowa, Feb. 8, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- CIVCO Medical Solutions is pleased to announce several promotions within its Radiation Oncology (RO) sales and marketing organization. "These organizational changes will improve operational focus and accountability while optimizing sales channel penetration and accelerating new product introductions within our Radiation Oncology segment," said Charles Klasson, CIVCO President.

CIVCO has appointed Patrick Hylkema as Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Radiation Oncology. Hylkema will oversee CIVCO's worldwide direct and distributor sales, marketing and business development functions. He has previously served as Vice President of OEM sales and Managing Director of International Sales with CIVCO. "In over two years with CIVCO, Patrick has helped build a powerful sales and marketing team," Klasson continued. "We look forward to his continued leadership in this enhanced role." Hylkema will continue to be headquartered at CIVCO's international office in Reeuwijk, The Netherlands.

Joos Wisse, Vice President of Global Direct Sales, will continue to lead all direct sales functions as a key member of Hylkema's leadership team. Within Wisse's team and as part of the restructuring, CIVCO is pleased to announce the promotion of Andres Ramirez to Vice President for North American Direct Sales. "With his extensive network, Andres is a valuable asset to CIVCO's North American market," said Wisse. "We look forward to Andres' work to build on CIVCO's market leadership in basic and advanced patient positioning for SBRT."

CIVCO veteran Ken Newby will be assuming the role of Vice President of National Account Sales for Radiation Oncology. Newby will focus on developing strategic relationships and sales in North America.
