CIVCO Radiotherapy Introduces New Five Year Warranty on Universal Couchtop™
CORALVILLE, Iowa, June 20, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- CIVCO Radiotherapy, the leading provider of high quality, innovative, patient-centric radiotherapy solutions, has extended its manufacturer's warranty on the Universal Couchtop (UCT) Long Extension and 1 Piece to a full five years, proving the outstanding quality and longevity of the Universal Couchtop. The new warranty went into effect June 1, 2017.

The UCT was introduced to the market in 2010 and has continually shown outstanding performance and reliability through the years. The couchtop has evolved from a one-piece solution to a modular solution with multiple extensions that optimize treatment across multiple disease sites, taking advantage of improved positioning device indexing and dosimetric properties.
The Universal Couchtop Long Extension contains no support mechanism to move or account for during planning. The couchtop utilizes 7 cm indexing with seven extension options to treat many disease sites, including extensions for direct attachment of CIVCO's Body Pro-Lok™ ONE SBRT Immobilization, trUpoint™ ARCH SRS/SRT System, and Type-S™ and Posifix® thermoplastics. It is available for most major CT and linear accelerator models to provide clean and easy imaging and treatment planning.
