Universal Couchtop™ Long Extension
The Universal Couchtop Long Extension is now available on Varian's TrueBeam® and VitalBeam™ Radiotherapy Systems (version 2.7 and higher software, including PerfectPitch™ 6DoF and 4DoF couches). The couchtop contains no support mechanism to move or account for during planning and utilizes 7 cm indexing. The dosimetrically matched couchtops are available for most major CT and Linac models to provide seamless imaging and treatment planning.
Chabner XRT® Radiation Bra
The Chabner XRT Radiation Bra provides optimal breast support, patient comfort and dignity, and reproducibility during simulation, planning and radiation treatment. All points of attachment are indexable so the patient can be custom-fit at the time of simulation and throughout treatment. Designed by a female radiation oncologist, Elizabeth Chabner Thompson, M.D., M.P.H. will be in-booth and presenting at ASRT conference courses.
FirmFit™ Thermoplastics with SnapFrame™ Type-S™
FirmFit Thermoplastic is now available for Type-S system users in a unique drape-style frame design. The segmented frame, once draped over the patient's face, snaps together into a continuous piece on the baseplate. Drape-style masks require less stretching of the material than continuous frame masks, resulting in a more rigid mask.
