Civic Engagement App 'Hear My Voice' Provides Two-Way Communication Between Elected Officials And Their Constituents

"Most local legislators don't have an effective digital channel to communicate with their constituents," asserts Becky Kip, Founder and CEO of Hear My Voice. "Discussions on social media can be congested with unproductive negativity and emails alone aren't enough to fully engage voters and get their feedback on issues affecting their communities."

At the end of the day, voters want their voices heard and elected officials need effective ways to reach those voters. Emails to voters can suffer from low open rates and traditional direct mail can end up straight in a voter's trashcan.

Through their HMV profile, elected officials can communicate with their constituents through LIVE town halls natively within the app and sending push notifications directly to HMV users in their district. In return, HMV users can comment on legislators' issues along with calling, tweeting and emailing those legislators directly through the legislators' profile.
