SAN FRANCISCO, March 7, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Civic, the leading blockchain identity-verification technology provider, today announced its partnership with Votem to launch the first CVC-Powered Know-Your-Customer (KYC) process. Votem is a technology platform that enables citizens, organizations and governments around the world to easily manage or participate in online voting. The partnership brings trusted identity services to Votem, enabling a secure and transparent pre-sale, without the risks and costs associated with collecting and storing personal identity information.

Votem will host a public token presale for accredited investors beginning February 27.

Civic will register & authenticate Votem's presale participants without the need for usernames and passwords, and verify their identity using blockchain-powered attestations.
