Civitas Senior Living Promotes Three More Executives

FORT WORTH, Texas, Jan. 4, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Civitas Senior Living, a growing, innovative senior living company based in Fort Worth, is proud to announce the promotion of three more executives as a result of the company's continued rapid growth and progress.

Dionne Motal, former Vice President of Human Resources, Amy Vittitow, former Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing, and Robb Sames, former Vice President of Sales and Marketing were promoted to Chief Human Resources Officer, Chief Marketing Officer, and Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing, respectively. This move follows the reorganization of the leadership team and subsequent promotions of three other company executives back in November.

Motal brings more than 35 years of experience to her new role as CHRO. She has been with Civitas Senior Living for two of its six years and is the person responsible for founding a formal human resources department for the company - including the development and creation of all the policies and procedures.

Also stepping up into a C-level role more befitting of her current range of responsibilities is Amy Vittitow. She has been the marketing lead at Civitas since the company began and is now the Chief Marketing Officer. As CMO, Vittitow charts the course both for how the company gets projects to market and how it continues to serve current residents.

"Amy started with us more than 12 years ago as a Community Marketing Director - long before Civitas Senior Living formally came into being - and has provided outstanding value and innovation ever since," said Wayne Powell. Misti Powell added that Vittitow's efforts help propel the industry forward. Moving up to take over Vittitow's former role as Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing is Robb Sames. "I was impressed with Robb from the first time I interviewed him five years ago, and that regard has only grown ever since," said Wayne Powell. "Sames is an essential resource for the marketing department and Amy Vittitow's "right-hand man," Powell said.

However, Sames is also an important individual contributor, said Cooper Vittitow. "Not only is Robb an employee, he's a critical member of our team. We see something in him that we want all of our regional marketers and community outreach directors to emulate," he said. Wayne Powell agrees. "Robb has become a key influencer on how we approach sales and marketing in the senior living industry without forgetting why we do it - to help our seniors," he said.

All three employees are thrilled with their new roles and look forward to helping the company grow. "Each of us started as individual contributors to the company. Now, through the process of growth, dedication, and promotions, we have more of a cohesive executive unit with distinct responsibilities.
