Clariant Oil & Mining Services Announces Immediate Price Increase

HOUSTON, March 13, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Clariant Oil & Mining Services, a world leader in specialty chemicals, announced today an increase in prices effective April 1, 2012.

These price adjustments are necessary to offset significant increases in raw material, freight and general inflation which is being driven predominantly by increasing crude oil costs.  This situation is exacerbated due to the availability of several vital feedstocks becoming tight due to record capacity utilization. Details, and the specific timing of the price increases, are being communicated to customers individually.
