As part of this exciting expansion, Classic Wines has appointed Art Tongkao-on as Vice President of Classic Wines of California. Art joins the team with a wealth of experience, most recently serving in senior leadership roles at Southern Glazer's Wines & Spirits, where he was instrumental in driving strategic growth and operational excellence. He has also held multiple key roles within Republic National Distributing Company (RNDC) in Texas, contributing to the company's success in several markets. Additionally, Art has supplier experience with Jackson Family Wines, where he managed multi-state operations in Texas, Louisiana, and Oklahoma, significantly expanding the company's footprint.

Prior to his successful career in the distribution and supplier sectors, Art spent 20 years in the restaurant and hotel industry, overseeing beverage programs at some of the most esteemed venues. His deep understanding of both the supplier and distribution sides of the wine industry, paired with his extensive leadership experience, uniquely positions him to drive Classic Wines' continued success in California and beyond.
