Climate XChange Celebrates 10 Years of Raffling Off Electric Vehicles to Fund Climate Action

BOSTON, Oct. 7, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- A decade ago, Climate XChange decided to tackle decarbonizing the transportation sector while raising funds for its work by raffling off a fully-customized electric vehicle. In celebration of this milestone, they're doubling your chances to win an electric vehicle by hosting two raffles.

If you're looking for a top-of-the-line vehicle, their Luxury Raffle's Grand Prize is any EV on the market up to $120,000. Or if you're not interested in a luxury car, but you still want to go electric, they've introduced an even more affordable Mini Raffle, where the top prize is any EV up to $45,000.

The Prizes

Luxury Raffle: Tickets are $250 and 5,000 will be sold

• Grand Prize: Design your own fully-customized EV from any manufacturer, up to $120,000. All taxes and fees paid by Climate XChange.
• 2nd Prize: $12,500
• 3rd Prize: $7,500
• Early Bird Prize: $10,000. Luxury Raffle tickets are eligible for Early Bird Prize if purchased by 11:59 PM on October 30, 2025.

Mini Raffle: Tickets are $100 and 3,500 will be sold

• Mini Raffle Prize: Design your own fully-customized EV from any manufacturer, up to $45,000. All taxes and fees paid by Climate XChange.

How It Works

Climate XChange has spent the last decade creating a fair and transparent raffle to fund its work. The drawing for both raffles will be livestreamed and they hire auditors to oversee the process, to ensure that every ticket purchased is entered into the drawing. No matter how many tickets are sold, Climate XChange will draw for and award all five prizes.

The team has personally worked with each of their nine previous Grand Prize winners to help them build and order their dream electric vehicles. Last year's winner designed a storm blue Rivian R1T.

Not only does the raffle put more electric cars on the road, but it helps fund the organization's work advancing state climate policy. As the federal government actively undermines the country's climate progress, states across the nation are stepping up to fill in the policy gaps and drive meaningful reductions in greenhouse gas emissions.
