CloudShare Announces Hands-On, Instructor-Led, Virtual Training Solution for SaaS Applications

SAN FRANCISCO, March 21, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- CloudShare, a specialty cloud provider that helps software companies replicate complex on-premise IT environments in the cloud for training, sales enablement, and sandboxing for testing and support, today announced the launch of CloudShare's Training Solution for SaaS Applications.

Training for SaaS architectures is most beneficial when students learn in real-world environments to get hands-on experience. But students also need the ability to ask questions during practice and receive immediate feedback and assistance. Nothing compares to the hands-on interactive experience of instructor-led training (virtual or on-site) for maximum knowledge transfer and retention.

While SaaS providers have their own cloud resources, their generic cloud hosting platforms lack the critical features required to provide effective instructor-led virtual training. CloudShare's Training Solution is optimized for the easy and cost-effective delivery and management of hands-on training over the provider's own SaaS infrastructure.

Key features of CloudShare's Training Solution for SaaS include:

• Ease of use: CloudShare is simple to use and manage, and does not require dedicated administrative staff. Instructors can schedule classes and automatically send student invitations with a URL. Students access classes with a click from any browser.
• Real-time interactions: CloudShare's full-featured instructor console enables instructors to supervise an entire class from a single screen. Trainers can see each student's progress in real-time and easily take control to assist when needed.
• Analytics that provide actionable insights and ROI calculations: Built-in analytics with ready-made dashboards enable training management to refine and improve their training offerings.

"The lack of stickiness inherent in the SaaS model means that vendors need to work harder to keep customers committed, especially as SaaS applications grow more complex," said Michal Frenkel, Director of Product at CloudShare. "An effective training solution that helps customers rapidly see maximum value is critical for keeping them committed to a vendor and its products over the long-term. SaaS vendors shouldn't skimp on instructor training tools or waste time trying to build their own when there are powerful, easy-to-use, turnkey solutions out there like CloudShare."
