CMRRA Announces Leadership Transition
Caroline Rioux to Transition to Advisory Role; New President to be Named; Veronica Syrtash Promoted to Senior Vice President Business Affairs and Corporate Development
TORONTO, Nov. 5, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- The Canadian Musical Reproduction Rights Agency Ltd. (CMRRA) today announced a leadership transition, with Caroline Rioux stepping down as CMRRA President in 2019 but remaining with the company as a strategic adviser to serve both CMRRA and her successor.
Prior to being appointed President in 2013, Ms. Rioux served the organization for more than 20 years in a variety of roles. As a strategic adviser, she will continue to play a key role in the company's operations and also provide for a successful leadership transition. The search for her successor is underway.
