CNN's Ali Velshi to host IR Magazine Awards -- US 2013 on March 21

NEW YORK, Jan. 17, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- IR Magazine announces that the host of the IR Magazine Awards – US 2013  will be Ali Velshi, chief  business correspondent of CNN. Velshi will join luminaries and legends of investor relations to congratulate the award winners and celebrate the 25th anniversary year of IR Magazine.

Now in their 18th year, the IR Magazine Awards – US 2013 are the industry's most prestigious and coveted awards that honor leading companies and professionals in investor relations. This year, the awards will take place on the evening of March 21 at a black-tie dinner and ceremony at Cipriani Wall Street in New York. The 2013 nominee list is led by Covidien and Intel, each with eight nominations. Danaher follows closely with seven. Ali Velshi executes several roles across CNN as the network's chief business correspondent and anchor of Your Money on CNN US and World Business Today on CNN International. He is the co-author of How to Speak Money and author of Gimme My Money Back.
