Coach K Debuts New Season of His Weekly SiriusXM Show Tonight

NEW YORK, Oct. 24, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Sirius XM Radio (NASDAQ: SIRI) announced today that Mike Krzyzewski, head coach of the Duke University and USA Men's Basketball teams, will debut the eighth season of his weekly SiriusXM show, Basketball and Beyond with Coach K, tonight, October 24 (7:00 pm ET), on Mad Dog Radio, channel 86.

Following the debut show a new episode will premier each week through college basketball season on Mad Dog Radio and will replay multiple times on SiriusXM College Sports Nation, channel 91.

On tonight's season premier, Coach K will interview Baltimore Orioles manager Buck Showalter and University of Louisville Men's Basketball coach Rick Pitino.

Since USA Basketball managing director Jerry Colangelo selected Krzyzewski as the Senior Men's National Team head coach, the USA is 62-1 in major international competitions, including gold at the 2008 and 2012 Olympics, as well as the 2010 FIBA World Championship.  With the gold medal victory this past summer in London, Krzyzewski became just the second coach in USA men's history to earn consecutive Olympic golds.  As a team, the USA set U.S. Olympic records for 3-pointers made, attempted, and for 3-point field goal percentage.
