BRADENTON, Fla., Oct. 13 /PRNewswire/ -- The advent of the Internet has allowed people to take charge of their health like never before.  In fact, a recent survey by About.com, showed 68% of respondents conducted research by consulting websites prior to a visit with their physician. Coastal Orthopedics recognized that many medical websites were not patient friendly, and to respond to the continuing trend, today officially launched a newly designed site to serve as a premier health resource for patients.

As part of their on-going campaign, Health in High-Def, Coastal has incorporated campaign messages, slogans, and new logo into the website. By integrating Health in High-Def and new website features, Coastal hopes the initiative will increase the general public's health IQ, and encourage people to get active about their health, both in mind and body.
