Coastline Promise Program Helps First-Year College Students to Attend College for Free

FOUNTAIN VALLEY, Calif., March 27, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- What if you could attend your first year in college – for free?  The Coastline Promise Program helps provide financial and academic support to recently qualified high school graduates to attend community college while eliminating the financial barrier facing students and allow them to focus on education and not on student debt.

While removing the financial burden is key for many students, a unique component of Coastline Promise is the individual guidance each student will receive throughout their first year of college with our services.  The Coastline Promise Program provides benefits like covering your first year's tuition fees, priority registration, textbook vouchers, free tutoring, and exceptional dedicated career planning.  Coastline College recognizes that students need more than financial support to get the education and skills they require to support themselves and their families in the future. They need mentoring, advising and other support services to guide and help them as they work toward a college degree or technical certificate.

Community colleges offer pathways to prospective economic and personal success, and hope for the future, to lower-income students, first-generation college students, minority students, veterans, single parents, or anyone looking to advance their skills.  Community leaders from education, government, business, and philanthropy are working together to provide a network of support and services to make college more affordable and to boost the number of students who start and complete a community college education.  Coastline College is proud to be a part of this national College Promise Campaign initiative.
