The company also presented a new logo and name in an announcement made today by The Sandestin Family Retail Shops. The new name is Coconut Kidz Children's Apparel and Toys and showcases the best and most fashionable brands from newborn to teen and everything in between.

"In early 2014, we combined Coconut Kids and Toys & Treasures under one roof. This combination and freshening up of the look and feel of the store created the ultimate shopping experience for children," said Sara Becnel, Executive Director, Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort. "Now, in order for our brand to be reflected in all elements of our store, we also made the decision to implement a fresh new logo and to drop the Toys & Treasures name, as we felt it was not necessary to have two names under one roof. We kept the name for one year so that our guests would know Toys & Treasures had not closed, but now it is time for the new logo and name to be revealed. We will still have the same great selection of clothing and toys from the brands you all know and love."
The most distinctive part of the new Coconut Kidz brand is the colorful, playful and easily recognizable logo. The loveable monkey that has always defined Coconut Kidz as a brand has been updated and made modern, becoming a more distinctive symbol for brand recognition and will easily appeal to parents, younger children, tweens and teens. Plus, the logo colors – shades of purple, pink, green and turquoise – align with the in-store colors and reinforce brand awareness. Visitors will easily notice the changes when shopping as the color scheme flows through the store and matches the stripes on the store's ceiling. The changing of the letter "s" to "z" in Coconuts Kidz is a subtle change, but reflects the playfulness of the new look, logo and brand.
With an amazing selection of children's clothing and fantastic toys under the same roof, it has become a one-stop shopping destination. The toy selections really bring the "fun" element with mounds of Ty Beanie Boos and Frizzys, and an Animaland Station where kids can build their own stuffed animal.
