CODA Automotive Appoints Chris Rose General Counsel

SANTA MONICA, Calif., Sept. 29 /PRNewswire/ -- CODA Automotive, a privately held American company that designs, manufactures and sells all-electric vehicles and battery systems for transportation and utility related applications, has hired Christopher Rose as its General Counsel. Chris will be responsible for all of CODA's legal matters and will manage a seasoned team of lawyers and legal staff.

Chris has more than 15 years of experience in corporate practice. Prior to joining CODA, Chris was Of Counsel with the law firm of Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati (WSGR) in Palo Alto, Calif. Prior to WSGR, Chris was a Senior Vice President, and the Associate General Counsel of Fidelity National Financial, in Jacksonville, Florida. Chris started his legal career at the law firm of Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom, where he worked for seven years and spent time in the firm's Los Angeles, San Francisco, Palo Alto and Boston offices.

Chris received his J.D. from the UCLA School of Law with coursework concentrations in corporate and tax law. He received his M.B.A. with Distinction from the Harvard Business School with coursework concentration in finance and accounting, and earned an A.B. with Highest Honors in Economics from UC Berkeley.  Chris is admitted to the Bar in California and Massachusetts.
