Cohen & Grigsby & Legal Aid Service of Collier County Host 2nd Annual Wills for Heroes Event in Honor of Veterans Day

NAPLES, Fla., Oct. 30, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Cohen & Grigsby, a business law firm with offices in Naples, Fla. and Pittsburgh, Pa., will show its gratitude for veterans and other local heroes this Veterans Day by hosting the 2^nd annual Wills for Heroes Event at the firm's Naples office (The Mercato 9110 Strada Place, Suite 6200 – located on the 2^nd floor above Bravo Restaurant) on Saturday, November 9, 2013 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.  During the event, Legal Aid Service of Collier County and local volunteer attorneys will prepare simple wills, advance care directives, and other basic estate planning documents at no cost for veterans, reservists, first responders, emergency personnel and their spouses who do not currently have these documents.

Anyone interested in attending the Wills for Heroes event must be a Florida resident and will need to present a military or service ID to receive services.  The event is open to all qualified applicants, but those planning to attend the event are strongly urged to register in advance by visiting Legal Aid's website (www.legalaid.org/collier) and completing the online registration form under the "News & Events" section of the website.  There are limited opportunities for these services, and preference will be given to those who have registered in advance. 

Tax planning and tax advice will not be provided during this special event.
