MADISON, N.J., Aug. 22, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Coldwell Banker Real Estate LLC and Adopt-a-Pet.com are teaming up for the second annual Homes for Dogs National Adoption Weekend. Hundreds of the Coldwell Banker® affiliated offices across the United States and Canada are joining forces with animal shelters and rescue groups to host adoption events in their local communities.
The national adoption weekend is a continuation of the Coldwell Banker"Homes for Dogs Project," which the Coldwell Banker brand launched in 2015 in collaboration with Adopt-a-Pet.com, North America's largest non-profit pet adoption website. In the project's first year alone, the two organizations helped facilitate more than 20,000 adoptions. This year's National Adoption Weekend is expected to draw upwards of 500 local adoption events.
As part of the campaign, the Coldwell Banker network debuted "Somebody to Love," a story of a man and homeless dog who find each other, which scored as one of the highest-ranking television ads of all time by Ace Metrix.
