MECHANICSBURG, Pa., March 26, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Collectibles company American Mint, LLC President Kevin Sacher is proud to announce another successful year-end sales for 2011. The economic decline has not slowed the growth rate for the Pennsylvania-based company.
The fiscal year of 2011 was a banner year for American Mint in terms of growth. Profits were up over 40% from last year. Sales were up more than 4%, and for the first time in the company's history, it broke the $30 million mark. Paid sales were up 11%. In addition, jobs were up 11% over the previous year. Its outbound marketing department, which was just created in 2010, tripled in the past year alone.
"To support this fast-growing business, we grew our workforce 11% in only one year. We're very excited for the rapid expansion, and are currently underway for another exciting year of continued growth for 2012," Sacher stated. In July of 2011, the company broke ground on a new building currently under construction. The new building is currently scheduled for a grand opening on June 8. It also passed its one millionth customer mark this past year.
