Collective Opens 2017 Bill Caspare Memorial Fund Diversity Scholarship Call for Applications

NEW YORK, May 24, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Advertising technology provider Collective today announced that applications for the 2017 Bill Caspare Memorial Fund Diversity Scholarship are now being accepted.

Established in partnership with the 4A's Foundation, which invests in education by providing financial support for future multicultural advertising and media executives, the scholarship will award one student $10,000 to pursue a career in new media or data science disciplines.

The scholarship fund memorializes Bill Caspare, a former senior executive with Collective. A 15-year industry veteran, Bill helped launch a number of successful digital media ventures such as db Ad Strategies, The Fifth Network, Oggifinogi, and Vidible, which was acquired by AOL in 2014.

Designed to foster diversity in the new media and data science disciplines within advertising and media, this fund provides a variety of resources for students and young professionals from diverse cultural and ethnic backgrounds. Rising college juniors and seniors who identify as African American, Asian American, Hispanic American, Native American, Multiracial or LBGTQ and who have a GPA above 3.25 are invited to apply. Applications are due Friday, July 14th.
