Colonial Williamsburg's American Stories Package Makes an Affordable Weekend Getaway Experience, from $75 Per Person, Per Night

WILLIAMSBURG, Va., Dec. 16, 2010 /PRNewswire/ -- Colonial Williamsburg's American Stories Package provides an excuse for couples to experience Virginia's winter. Starting at $75 per person, per night for a three-day/two-night stay, American Stories is available January 1 - March 17, 2011. The package includes:

  • Nightly accommodations at the Williamsburg Lodge, an official Colonial Williamsburg Hotel
  • Daily breakfast
  • Historic Area passes for length of stay

Package pricing is based on double occupancy and a two-night stay in a superior guest room, with Sunday - Thursday arrival. Pricing varies with room type and arrival date.

With American Stories Package guests can participate in interactive Historic Area programs, engage in stories of America's first citizens and enjoy exhibits at The Art Museums of Colonial Williamsburg. Guests may also enroll in one of many forums and symposiums. Guests become immersed in their surroundings, experiencing behind-the-scenes tours at Bruton Heights Education Center or listening to the music of colonial composers. After exploring the Historic Area, museums and shopping in Merchants Square, guests can spend an evening dining by candlelight reveling in 18th-century games at Chowning's Tavern and finish the evening with cocktails at the Restoration Bar in the Williamsburg Inn.
