Comhear Inc. Unveils Mobile App for YARRA 3DX™; Approaches $1 Million in Crowdfunding to Bring World's First 3D-Audio Sound Bar to Market

LAS VEGAS, Jan. 9, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- (CES) -- Comhear Inc., the San Diego-based audio technology company, today unveiled the mobile control application for its 3D-audio sound bar, YARRA 3DX™. The company unveiled the app on the heels of a successful crowdfunding campaign, raising nearly $1 Million in funding from September 2017 through January 2018, more than 1470% over the $50K goal. Funds will be used to bring YARRA 3DX to the market in early 2018.

YARRA 3DX, Comhear's first consumer product, provides HiFi sound for gaming, music, home theater, VR/AR and enterprise applications. The new YARRA 3DX app, being demonstrated on Android at CES, controls settings for near and far field operation, beam selection and presets, surround modes, positional data and firmware updates. Both Android and iOS versions of the app will be available with first product shipments.

Comhear's MyBeam™ patented groundbreaking audio technology has already won several awards this year including the 2017 Consumer Electronics Show (CES) Innovation Award and an "Alfie" from the LA Audio Show (LAAS) for superior technological achievement. The crowdfunding campaigns kicked off on Kickstarter on September 12, 2017 and moved to Indiegogo on October 30, 2017. Interested backers are still able to pledge on Indiegogo at steeply discounted pricing. Funds will be used to bring the company's working prototypes to market-ready retail units. Backers of the crowdfunding campaigns secured one or more YARRA 3DX units, which come with an accompanying subwoofer, setup DVD or files, six high-resolution surround music albums from AIX Records, and the YARRA 3DX app.
