Commercial Litigation Attorney Richik Sarkar Strengthens McGlinchey Stafford's Cleveland Presence

CLEVELAND, Nov. 3, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- McGlinchey Stafford PLLC is pleased to announce that Richik Sarkar has joined the firm as a Member. He will practice within the firm's national Commercial Litigation team and will be based in the firm's Cleveland office.

Sarkar has extensive experience in contracts, commercial law, sales and trade practices, business torts, professional negligence and malpractice, financial services law, internal investigations, corporate governance, and compliance and risk management. His client base includes public and private entities such as small and minority-owned businesses; sports and media agencies; technology companies; school districts; governments; utilities; multinational corporations; and global, national, and regional financial institutions and community banks.

Sarkar received his J.D. from the Case Western Reserve University School of Law in 1998, and his master's degree and bachelor's degree from the University of Michigan in 1994 and 1993, respectively. He is highly involved in professional organizations within the Cleveland legal and business communities, serving in leadership roles within a number of organizations including the Asian American Bar Association of Ohio, the Greater Cleveland Partnership's Commission on Economic Inclusion, and the Rainey Institute. He was selected to the Leadership Cleveland Class of 2015, a program of the Cleveland Leadership Center.
