Commercial Real Estate Women Network to Examine Industry Trends and 2010 Benchmark Study Findings at National Convention & Marketplace
2010 CREW NETWORK CONVENTION AND MARKETPLACE TO BE HELD OCTOBER 20-23, 2010
LAWRENCE, Kan., Sept. 8, /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The nation's leading women in commercial real estate will converge in San Francisco at the CREW Network Convention & Marketplace October 20-23 to, hear from commercial real estate thought leaders about the most important trends currently taking shape in commercial real estate, discuss findings from CREW Network's 2010 industry benchmark study, and recognize leaders and rising stars in the industry.
The theme of the convention is Opportunities Rising: Leading to Change.
One of the most significant announcements made at the conference will be the release of Women in Commercial Real Estate 2010, an independent industry benchmark study, and follow-up to CREW Network's groundbreaking study released on this topic five years ago. Among other things, the study will take a look at new entrants into commercial real estate and determine whether pay and promotion levels have become more equal among men and women.
"This year, you can't afford to be involved in commercial real estate and miss the content at this convention," said Kristin Blount, 2010 CREW Network President and Senior Vice President/ Partner at Colliers, Meredith and Grew in Boston. "The study findings, information and trends we will release and discuss are critical to the success of everyone in commercial real estate."
Keynote and general session speakers will address a variety of commercial real estate topics, including CREW Network's research study:
- Marcus Buckingham – New York Times best-selling author and visionary
- Gwendolyn L. Butler, President and COO, Capri Capital Partners, LLC
- Michael J. Lafitte, President, Americas, CB Richard Ellis
- Diane M. Morefield, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, Strategic Hotels & Resorts
- Sally French Tyler, President, National Commercial Services, First American Title Insurance Co.
