ATLANTA, Jan. 27, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Commetrex Corporation announced today that it is exhibiting at Technology Marketing Corporation's ITEXPO East 2011, to be held at Miami Beach Convention Center on February 2-4. In its exhibit, the company will feature BladeWare and its industry-leading product line for the enterprise-fax OEM, including the MSP PCM interface boards. The BladeWare telephony platform is the first product to incorporate Commetrex' patent-pending "Smart FoIP" technology, which the company claims solves many of the problems associated with placing FoIP calls over IP-carrier networks. The company will also feature the BladeWare-based Fax2Email and Email2Fax applications, as well as FaxTap for T.38, Commetrex' IP-fax session-analysis tool.
Commetrex' CEO, Mike Coffee, has accepted an invitation from Ingate Systems AB to present at its SIP Trunk-UC Summit, co-located at ITEXPO. The Fax over IP session will be on February 3 at 11:00.
According to Ingate's Hillary Call, FoIP is becoming an increasingly significant feature in unified-communications systems and delivered over the SIP-trunking offerings of service providers. "We are pleased that Commetrex and FaxCore, both members of the SIP Forum's FoIP Task Group, will be providing Summit attendees with the very latest information on this critical technology."
Commetrex also announced that it will be a proud sponsor of this year's Car Giveaway at ITEXPO East, featuring a brand new Jeep.
Commetrex, after providing industry-leading fax technologies to the telecom equipment OEM for over a decade, has developed BladeWare™, an advanced-architecture all-software telephony platform that supports FoIP with SIP signaling. In 2009, the company added support for digital and analog PSTN connectivity in partnership with Sangoma Technologies. The addition of support for PCI and PCI Express boards for analog office and station interfaces and ISDN PRI and BRI gives Commetrex the industry's broadest fax-telephony product line for the enterprise-fax OEM. Commetrex' list of technology licensees is a who's who of the telecom industry, including 8X8, Altigen, Aspect, Audiocodes, Avaya, Broadsoft, Copia International, Digium, emFAST, Interactive Intelligence, Openwave, Radisys, Sagem-Interstar, Shoretel, Siemens, Tektronix, and Sonus Networks.
