Commtouch Adds to Executive Team as Targeted Customer Base Continues to Grow

MCLEAN, Va., Nov. 18, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Commtouch^® (NASDAQ: CTCH), a leading provider of Internet security technology and cloud-based security services, today announced the appointment of Joy A. Nemitz as Chief Marketing Officer and Sue Perng Lee as General Counsel and Corporate Secretary.

As Chief Marketing Officer, Nemitz leads Commtouch's global marketing team. Offering more than 24 years of executive leadership, Nemitz previously served as Chief Marketing Officer for Apptix, a provider of hosted IT solutions. She also held strategic marketing and business development positions in cloud, SaaS and hosted services marketing at TARGUS info, Synchronoss Technologies Inc., VeriSign Incorporated and Syniverse Technologies. She holds both a bachelor's degree from Gannon University and a master's degree from Southeastern University.

Bringing 13 years of experience in legal, regulatory, compliance and corporate governance functions, Lee previously served as General Counsel and Vice President for Harmonix Music Systems, a software development company. She previously served as Vice President of Business & Legal Affairs at MTV Networks, Corporate and Securities Counsel at Genzyme Corporation, and an attorney at the international law firm, Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP. Lee holds a bachelor's degree and law degree from Harvard University.

Both Nemitz and Lee are based in Commtouch's headquarters in McLean, Virginia.
