Commtouch Announces Executive Team Changes

MCLEAN, Va., Nov. 19, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Commtouch^® (NASDAQ: CTCH) announced changes within its senior management team to support its ongoing transformation strategy from a technology service provider to a complete cloud-based Security-as-a-Service provider.  These appointments will enable the executive team to focus on the Company's long-term growth strategy, while keeping a keen eye on operational excellence.

Effective immediately, Shlomi Yanai has accepted the role of president focused on Commtouch's strategic and growth initiatives. He transitioned the position of chief executive officer (CEO) to Lior Samuelson, currently the Chairman of the Board of Commtouch, who will keep continued focus on the company's operational excellence.[1] Mr. Samuelson has a long-term relationship with Commtouch as well as an extensive career including serving as chairman, CEO and board member of multiple companies in technology, telecom, financial services and management consulting.
