Companies Team Up to Offer STEAM Challenge for Kids

ST. LOUIS, Sept. 15, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Nine children's companies around the country are teaming up this fall to offer a STEAM challenge for kids. STEAM (which stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math) has been stealing headlines with the release of STEAM toys and subscription boxes, like Goldieblox and Tinkercrate.

While STEAM is a popular topic, many families and schools do not have access to STEAM education. STEAM products tend to be complicated and expensive. This is the first time that companies are coming together to offer an affordable, fun way for kids to participate in STEAM learning.

The STEAM Challenge is an interactive, budget-friendly competition. Families and schools can enter their kids' projects in the Challenge. Real STEAM professionals, like architects, inventors, and designers will judge the projects. Winners will receive STEAM prizes, including kits and gift cards. The Challenge is a great after-school, during school, and weekend activity that gets kids off their screens!

Pictures of projects must be submitted online by Nov. 22nd, 2017
STEAM professionals will judge the projects and select winners to receive prizes from sponsoring companies.
