"Last year's TechFair LA was the largest ever tech job fair in Southern California, bringing out well over 10,000 job seekers and featuring the 250 most well-known LA tech companies," said Jason Nazar, Comparably CEO and 2016-2017 Entrepreneur in Residence for the City of Los Angeles. The event will also include members of Los Angeles' venture capital firms in conversation about their increased interest in the city's civic landscape.
"This year, TechFair LA will have a new overlay of civic engagement to benefit our community, and we will encourage tech companies to think carefully about – and take care of – the city that is so rapidly changing right before our very eyes," said Wallis Annenberg, Chairman, President and CEO of Annenberg Foundation. "We expect to open the door to job applicants who might not otherwise have had access, and provide real job and networking opportunities.
