LOS ANGELES and NEW YORK, March 13, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- FAULKNER have teamed up with Complex to premiere their long awaited single "Keep Your Enemies Closer." Produced by RZA and featuring a co-write and vocals from rapper Royce Da 5'9", "Keep Your Enemies Closer" is the first listen from FAULKNER since the release of their debut EP, Revanchist. FAULKNER is the only independent band in recent memory to co-write with two legendary rappers on their upcoming debut album.
"Keep your enemies closer was inspired from my time on the street and reading Robert Greene's 48 laws of power. Greene is the Clausewitz of our century," says FAULKNER's frontman Lucas Asher. Named "Ones to Watch" by The Guardian, bi-coastal rockers FAULKNER have gained serious buzz over the past year after landing an unfinished demo of their song "NY Anthem" in the hands of RZA, the Wu-Tang Clan mastermind.
