Component Sourcing International Acquires SenSource, Expanding Global Sourcing and Manufacturing Capabilities

Strategic acquisition adds established in-country teams, specialized manufacturing expertise and an expanded global supplier network

CHARLOTTE, N.C., Sept. 3, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Component Sourcing International (CSI), a global sourcing and supply chain management company specializing in engineered components and a CPC operating company, today announced the acquisition of SenSource Global Sourcing, LLC, an international sourcing and supply chain company based in Milford, Ohio.

The acquisition brings together two highly complementary organizations with similar approaches to global sourcing, engineered component supply and hands-on supply chain management. SenSource adds established in-country teams in China, Taiwan, and India, along with specialized expertise in gears, machined shafts, and multi-process castings. These capabilities strengthen CSI's existing global sourcing platform while expanding the manufacturing expertise and resources available to customers.

SenSource provides end-to-end supply chain management and consultative support, including engineered product sourcing, sourcing-region selection, logistics, warehousing, inventory management, and product development. Its in-country teams work directly with suppliers throughout the quoting, tooling, sampling, quality and delivery processes.

For CSI, those teams significantly expand its on-the-ground presence in regions where the company already sources, providing established expertise, supplier relationships and complementary capabilities that accelerate the company's strategic growth objectives. SenSource also expands CSI's capabilities in areas including gears, splines and aluminum die casting and brings additional experience across markets including medical and dental, automotive, agriculture and off-road, infrastructure and utilities, construction, and appliances.

For SenSource customers, joining CSI provides access to a broader global sourcing organization and expanded manufacturing and supply chain capabilities while preserving the relationships, service and expertise they rely on today.

The acquisition also represents the continued growth of CSI under CPC's long-term ownership model. CPC is an investment holding company focused on buying, building and holding businesses for the long term.

The acquisition closed on August 31, 2026.
