Compusearch to implement and host the U.S. Department of Labor's new Acquisition Management System

DULLES, Va., May 23, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Compusearch® is pleased to announce it has been awarded the prime contract to implement its PRISM™ solution as the U.S. Department of Labor's (DOL) enterprise-wide Acquisition Management System (AMS). The award is $6.2 million dollars for the base and first option period.

DOL will replace its legacy acquisition system with Compusearch's PRISM, a fully-integrated, web-based, full acquisition lifecycle solution. The Compusearch-hosted system will unify disparate processes currently addressed by multiple systems and align a streamlined DOL business model with the new COTS software solution. The AMS will be fully interoperable with DOL's New Core Financial Management System, E-Grants System, and the Contractor Personnel System. This approach will help deliver improved customer service, support improved visibility, transparency, and control over DOL's resources, enhance management reporting, and optimize the productivity and performance of the agency's acquisition workforce.
