Vestiaire Collective, il sito leader a livello internazionale nel settore della vendita di capi di moda di seconda mano di qualità e di lusso, ha annunciato oggi di avere raccolto finanziamenti per 33 milioni di Euro dalla società di investimenti francese Eurazeo in occasione della sua quinta tornata di finanziamenti. La tornata è stata seguita dai precedenti investitori di Vestiaire Collective che includono Idinvest Partners, Condé Nast, Balderton Capital e Ventech. La nuova tornata di finanziamenti, una delle più importanti del 2015 in Francia, dimostra una grande fiducia degli investitori nel modello unico sviluppato dall'innovativa azienda francese, che ha reinventato la struttura di vendita online dell'usato per soddisfare le esigenze dei consumatori moderni. I finanziamenti totali di Vestiaire Collective a tutt'oggi ammontano a 60 milioni di Euro in 5 anni.

Con una crescita annuale dell'85% nella prima metà di quest'anno, Vestiaire Collective intende usare il nuovo capitale per accelerare il proprio roll out internazionale in rapida espansione, con una particolare enfasi sull'Europa e gli Stati Uniti. Il finanziamento consentirà all'azienda di ampliare la sua forte presenza in Europa e continuare a coltivare il suo ambizioso piano negli USA per dare seguito ai primi incoraggianti risultati ottenuti dopo il lancio ufficiale negli States nel novembre 2014.

Oltre al roll out internazionale, questo nuovo aumento di capitale consentirà di supportare l'innovativa strategia dell'azienda leader nel mercato francese, che potrà anche continuare a sviluppare la reputazione del marchio a livello globale rafforzando i team internazionali in crescita.
