More than 100 employees, including numerous senior-level executives, work at the new, 28,000 square foot, office. The new facility is purpose-built to include features, such as mobile workstations, that are designed to help foster the collaboration and easy exchange of ideas integral to an effective software development process and pursuit of innovation.
"Our expansion in Atlanta is a direct reflection of the success we've achieved as a result of our deep understanding of how the health insurance industry works and the proven effectiveness of our solutions in their use throughout the commercial and public sectors," said Dave Sockel, chief revenue officer at Connecture and one of the senior-level executives based in Atlanta. "Our solutions benefit carriers, brokers, government agencies and consumers by making the online distribution of health insurance efficient and effective."
No other company has empowered more Americans to purchase health insurance online than Connecture. Many of the nation's largest carriers and more than half of all Blue Cross & Blue Shield plans use the company's systems to sell their products and provide consumers with an intuitive online shopping experience.
Connecture also powers the Medicare.gov PlanFinder and Online Enrollment Center used by seniors to select the plan that best meets their needs, and provides the shopping and enrollment platforms used in three Affordable Care Act marketplaces. These include those of Maryland, Minnesota and Washington, D.C.
Lincoln Property Company Southeast, in conjunction with the Atlanta office of Cushman Wakefield, brokered the lease of the new office.
