CONNEXION HEALTHCARE -- Publication Connexion Wins Prestigious APEX Award for Publication Excellence

PCX was acknowledged for it work in the development and design of Givensight, a quarterly electronic newsletter that it produces on behalf of Given Imaging, a gastroenterology diagnostic company based in Duluth, GA.

Givensight is an electronic news magazine for clinicians who diagnose and treat a variety of gastrointestinal diseases using Given Imaging's unique PillCam capsular endoscopy system. APEX Awards for Publication Excellence is an international, annual competition for publishers, editors, writers and designers who create print, Web, electronic, and social media. Business, nonprofit, agency, and freelance communicators enter APEX to win awards for their best writing, publications, campaigns, programs, design, and media. APEX Awards are given following a peer-juried review of submissions in which judges evaluate entries for graphic design, editorial content, and the overall success of the entry in achieving communications' effectiveness, objectives, and excellence.

There were 3,382 entries in 130 categories in 2012.  PCX was acknowledged in the electronic newsletter class of entries, where it won out over 300 other entries. Winning the APEX Award also entitles PCX to use the APEX logo for all communications in 2012-13.
