Conquest Advisory LLP ('Conquest') acted as exclusive financial advisor to Kapsch TrafficCom AG ("Kapsch TrafficCom") on its agreement to acquire the global transportation business of Schneider Electric S.E.

Working closely with Kapsch TrafficCom's shareholders and management team, Conquest provided cutting-edge corporate finance and transaction advisory expertise, and supported the approach, due diligence and negotiation workstreams of the transaction.
This acquisition reflects the current expanding need for integrated solutions that leverage a variety of tectonic trends taking place across the globe, ranging from massive urbanization and the rise of megacities across high-growth markets to the development of smart connected and greener cities in mature economies.
With 2014 revenues of €134 million in Spain, Latin America, the US and the Middle East, Schneider Electric's Transportation Business will bring to Kapsch TrafficCom an industry portfolio of integrated advanced traffic management solutions for urban, highway and tunnel applications as well as tolling and transit solutions. Kapsch TrafficCom will step-up its intelligent mobility solutions (IMS) strategy, significantly grow its customer offering with an integrated portfolio of intelligent transportation systems (ITS) extending from the highway to the city, and expand its global footprint in important growth markets.
