CINCINNATI, May 23, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- As Carthage Mills' nationwide network of distributors and regional warehouses continue to grow, the success of its latest warehouse in Bensalem, Pennsylvania (just outside of Philadelphia) has emerged as a potential model for other locations. The Bensalem location was originally owned by a Carthage Mills distributor, Jolinca Products, and provided convenient access to a variety of quality geosynthetics for both private and public funded construction projects in the Mid-Atlantic region. After it was acquired by Carthage Mills and converted to a regional warehouse and sales office, they immediately expanded its reach to include parts of the Northeast.

According to Regional Manager Bill Rodgers, the primary reasons for the success of this warehouse include:

1. A fully stocked inventory of regional DOT products always available for pick up or delivery.
2. A wide selection of jobsite products, which make it convenient for local customers to make one stop and pick up everything they need.
3. A flatbed truck that makes daily deliveries five days a week thereby enabling distributors to efficiently manage their inventory.

This route service out of Bensalem is much more cost efficient than commercial LTL (Less Than Truckload), and thus is a key component in Carthage Mills' expansion throughout other areas of the country. The areas covered by this service out of Bensalem include all of New Jersey and Delaware, as far west as Harrisburg in Pennsylvania, as well as the entire New York Tri-state region.
