Unlike a traditional coffee mug, the Knox Insulated Ceramic Mug can keep beverages hot for up to an hour, thanks to a layer of insulation. At its core, a ceramic mug lines the inside and extends through the top of the cup, providing a wide ceramic lip for drinking. Next, a thick layer of foam insulation wraps around the ceramic mug, insulating it to keep beverages hot and hands cool. Finally, a stainless steel exterior adds an extra layer of durability to the mug.
