Continental Who's Who recognizes Eileen DiFrancesco, M.D.
NEW YORK, April 17, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Continental Who's Who recognizes Eileen DiFrancesco, M.D., as a Pinnacle Lifetime Member in recognition of her contributions to the Healthcare field.
Dr. DiFrancesco brings 22 years of experience in comprehensive diagnostic evaluation, neuroimaging and clinical research to her 15-year-old private practice. She is Board certified as a Diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
"I have years of experience in diagnosing and treating mental illness, as well as maintaining the mental health of my patients," Dr. DiFrancesco said. "I have worked in many different areas in the mental health field; including community psychiatry, impatient psychiatry, addiction medicine, clinical research and finally in private practice."
Dr. DiFrancesco holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania and earned her Medical degree from Temple University Medical School. She spent one year working with mentally disabled patients, completed her residency in neurology and psychiatry at Mt. Sinai Medical Center and was later appointed Medical Director at the Learning Lab in Connecticut, where her role was to research brain mapping.
To further her professional development, Dr. DiFrancesco is a member of both the American Medical Association and the American Psychiatric Association. When not working, Dr. DiFrancesco volunteers her time to the Cardinal Krol Center for the developmentally disabled.
