Classic Sets the Scene for the Premier Golf Outing
LOS ANGELES, Oct. 13, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Classic Event & Tent Rentals (Classic), the nation's largest event rental company, once again had the pleasure of working with the Ryder Cup over this past weekend. The 2016 Ryder Cup was held on the grounds of the Hazeltine National Golf Club in Chaska, Minnesota. From tents to tables the event was a palette of whites, blues and reds. Classic provided hundreds of chairs, tables and linens, not to mention quite a few tents. The six-day event was a huge success for all involved.
Classic provided over 600,000 square feet of tenting from 5 different manufacturers. These products ranged from a Roder double decker and a Jet tent, to multiple 40m & 30m buildings. There were 81 Curved/Arcum Style Chalets ranging from 9m to 20m spread over 11 different villages. The largest structure on site was the 50,000 square feet Ryder Cup Shop that was housed within a 40m Losberger Structure with a custom entrance.
Classic also provided over 1.1 million square feet of wooden and scaffold floors, over 700,000 square feet of carpet, 10,000 chairs, and 1,500 tables to create the Ryder Cup "city" for this prestigious event.
Additional items that were used throughout the site were over 700,000 wood screws, 250 lighted exit signs, 10,000 stakes, 50,000 linear feet of steel cable and 125 – 15' x 15' bus stop tents for the over 50,000 daily visitors.
