Contour Energy Systems Names Louis E. Lupo President & CEO

AZUSA, Calif., Aug. 16, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Contour Energy Systems, Inc., innovator of next-generation battery systems, announces the appointment of Louis E. Lupo as President and CEO. Lou will guide Contour's strategic vision and direction in pursuit of significant growth opportunities in existing and new applications for the company's market-leading Lithium/Carbon Fluoride (Li/CFx) battery technology, combined with future corporate acquisitions of complementary technologies.

A 25-year industry veteran, Mr. Lupo was previously VP/GM of TS3 Technology Inc., an electronics manufacturing services company that acquired Presscom Electronics, LLC in 2009. Prior to that, Mr. Lupo was Executive VP of EaglePicher Technologies, a $200 million high-technology specialty battery and specialty material manufacturer for defense and aerospace applications. Prior to EaglePicher, Mr. Lupo held executive positions in engineering, business development, marketing and operations with Honeywell International and BE Aerospace.

Lou earned his B.S. from Western Michigan University and an EMBA in strategic planning and finance from Thunderbird School of Global Management in Glendale, AZ.
