Contrast Security Names Steve Feldman Vice President of Engineering
Industry Veteran Will Lead Effort to Eliminate Application Security Gap and Accelerate Threat Response Time
PALO ALTO, Calif., Nov. 11, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Contrast Security, the world's fastest application security software, today announced the addition of Steve Feldman as vice president of engineering. Feldman will play an integral role in continuing advancements to the company's application security software, which helps organizations act faster against application security threats and dramatically reduces risk. He will oversee the development of infrastructure and cloud operations and will work with the engineering team to ensure customers can quickly and easily apply continuous delivery and integration to their application development teams.

Feldman brings experience building high-performing technology teams to deliver software design and deployment. Prior to joining Contrast Security, Feldman served as vice president of engineering services for Blackboard. In his role, he built an entire practice area around application security and performance engineering. Steve was responsible for Blackboard's portfolio of mobile, SaaS and enterprise products, representing more than $400 million in recurring revenue.

Feldman holds his bachelor's degree from Georgetown University, a master's of science in systems engineering from Johns Hopkins University, and has been published in a variety of technical papers from Microsoft, Intel and Dell.
