ConvaTec Announces Robbie Heginbotham to Leadership Team
SKILLMAN, N.J., July 15, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- ConvaTec, a world-leading developer and marketer of innovative medical technologies for community and hospital care, today announced the appointment of Robbie Heginbotham to its Executive Committee.
Heginbotham, Senior Vice President, Global Manufacturing and Supply Chain, assumed the role on an interim basis in January of this year. In his permanent position, he will continue to focus on developing best-in-class quality and service initiatives while overseeing the operational effectiveness of the global manufacturing processes and network.
Heginbotham, who has been with the company for 40 years, has held positions in supply chain management, manufacturing and lean acceleration. Prior to assuming his interim position, he was instrumental in establishing the ConvaTec Wound Care Center of Excellence in Deeside, UK.
