Convergex's Kelli Annequin Wins Markets Media 2016 Markets Choice Award; Shari Grant and Ann Neidenbach Also Receive Nominations

NEW YORK, Nov. 16, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Convergex, an agency-focused global brokerage and trading related services provider, is pleased to announce that Kelli Annequin, Convergex Chief Marketing Officer, won the Markets Media 2016 Markets Choice Awards: Women in Finance for 'Excellence in Marketing.'  Shari Grant, Convergex Senior Vice President of Global Clearing and Prime Services, and Ann Neidenbach, Convergex Chief Information Officer, also received nominations in the trading and technology categories. The Markets Choice Awards recognize some of the most talented and accomplished women in multiple categories across exchanges, sell-side trading desks, institutional investors, hedge funds, exchanges and technology providers.

Shari Grant is currently Senior Vice President of Convergex's Global Clearing and Prime Services team.  Ms. Grant joined Convergex in 2005 and was a member of Convergex's Sales Trading desk for over 8 years prior to transitioning to the Prime Brokerage team in 2013.  With almost 25 years of sales experience, Ms. Grant heads the Northeast Region for Convergex Prime Services where she is responsible for Sales and Business Development of Convergex's Prime Brokerage and Clearing Services.   

Ann Neidenbach is a well-respected technology expert with more than 25 years of experience in the global financial services industry. As Convergex's Chief Information Officer and a member of the firm's Executive Committee, Ms. Neidenbach is responsible for leading all of Convergex's software development, information services, business processes and technical infrastructure. She is a member of the CTA/UTP SIP Advisory Committee and also serves on the Paxos BankChain Steering Committee.
