Designed in response to the emerging culture and support of sustainability at the university, the KU Center for Design Research includes several highly-efficient interior and exterior products including Cooper Lighting's LED downlights. Providing excellent color quality (81 CRI) and a warm white color temperature (3000K correlated color temperature), the series consumes less than 15 watts and delivers over 600 lumens (comparable in light output and light distribution to a 65 watt BR30 lamp). The fixtures can be dimmed and are designed to last 50,000 hours.
