CoorsTek Enters Agreement to Acquire Saint-Gobain Advanced Ceramics
CoorsTek to expand technical capabilities and geographical footprint
GOLDEN, Colo., June 28 /PRNewswire/ -- CoorsTek, Inc., the leading global manufacturer of technical ceramic and specialty material components, announced today the signing of a definitive agreement to purchase the Advanced Ceramics business of Saint-Gobain with facilities in Europe, North America, South America, and Asia.
Under the agreement, CoorsTek will acquire the Advanced Ceramics business held by Saint-Gobain Ceramic Materials, a leading global supplier of materials and components made from ceramics, grains, and powders.

Subject to necessary governmental approvals, this acquisition is expected to be effective on July 31, 2010.
