BRANFORD, Conn., June 16, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Today Core Informatics announced the launch of the Platform for Science Marketplace™, the first of its kind catalog of pre-configured scientific applications designed to flexibly support the changing needs of modern laboratories, integrate data sources, and speed informatics deployments. The apps are built on Core Informatics' Platform for Science™ by an ecosystem of partners and customers to enable scientists to leverage industry best practices, swiftly implement changes in workflows, methods of data collection and analysis, instrument interfaces, and share data securely with collaborators.
The Platform for Science, Core Informatics' Scientific Platform-as-a-Service offering available from the Cloud or on-premises, is designed to empower users to quickly extend and configure their data management system to meet their evolving workflows without the need for custom coding. The apps in the Platform for Science Marketplace integrate seamlessly with Core Informatics' products, including Core LIMS, ELN, SDMS and Core Collaboration, for customers engaged in all phases of scientific product development and innovation.
Anyone can browse the Platform for Science Marketplace to find apps built for their domain. Existing apps include configurable solution sets built to meet the needs of scientists involved in Drug Discovery (small molecule and biologics), Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) and Biobanking. The breadth and depth of available solutions continues to grow rapidly, with new applications coming soon for numerous other scientific domains including Bioprocessing, Crop Science, Chemicals, Food and Beverage, CPG and more.
